Advanced Exotic Performance Troupe | By approval only

Make all of your floor work performance dreams come true in this professional development course. You will be working with a select group of babes who are committed to perform in a professional show for a Sky Sirens production at the end of the course.

This course will run from week starting 21st October 2019 to 29th March 2020 and will meet intermittently during the Christmas break. The class will be meeting on Wednesdays at 6pm-7pm and on Sundays from 5pm to 7pm (flexible as some weeks may vary). The performance night date is yet to be confirmed, but will be a weekend in April 2020.

You will work on:

  • Stage presence

  • Timing and cohesive choreography

  • Spatial awareness and positioning as part of a troupe

  • Choreography could be part of a solo performance, doubles, small troupe or large group.

  • Professional costuming guidance and Hair & Makeup polishing

  • The experience of performing on a professional stage (with photo and video keepsakes from the performance)

This time, Eroticesque won't just be a single "routine", it will be a complete showgirl extravaganza choreographed and produced by studio owner Katia, and now also with studio manager Dahlia. The class will aim towards the troupe putting on their very own show, complete with multiple group performances, solos, duos and more. Not only will this performance evening be a paid opportunity for the students, they will also have the opportunity to be mentored and trained closely by Industry professionals.
If successful, the show will tour, allowing students inter-state exposure and performance experience.

Pre-Requisites:

This class is an advanced course, and students will be approved via application only. This course is not about teaching students HOW to dance. Students must already have a specific and advanced set of floor work and exotic skills before entering the class. Students must have perfectly pointed feet, line extensions, fluidity/flow and be able to remember choreography and dance in time to the music. The expectations of this course are high, and you must be willing to take on constructive feedback and work as a team. You must always remain polite, respectful and kind - even when under pressure.

We will be hand-picking only twelve students (approx.) who are at an elite level and who are capable of working individually and most importantly - as a team. As there will be different genres involved (Sling, Lyra, Burlesque, Erotic Floorwork), we will also need to take into consideration a varied skill level and genre when choosing successful applicants. Applications are welcome for anybody, all you need to do is answer the questions honestly. You may be asked to submit a video link after your submission if requested (this is if Katia and Dahlia haven't seen you dance before!). This opportunity is also open to babes from other studios. As this genre is erotic in nature, we will be giving priority to those with Adult Industry experience (out of respect), and also ensuring we have diversity in the troupe.

Students are expected to:

  • Be comfortable with stripping down to pasties. This is an erotic course and is taught by an erotic entertainer, and stripping will be part of the performance.

  • Attend a minimum of 60 hours for the approximate 70 hour course, and be expected to attend other compulsory training sessions leading up to the performance date.

  • Students must perform if they are enrolled into this course. Please be aware that there will be photographs and videos taken of the performance and shared online and in printed form.

  • Be prepared to spend money on costuming and be willing to conform to hair, makeup and costuming guidelines (this course is open to all genders, shapes, sizes etc. and this will be considered as a group when making costume decisions).

  • Must be willing to work as a team and adjust formations and choreography at the last minute. Students are expected to act professionally at all times.

  • Willing to travel to interstate locations to perform at Fringe Festivals, and other performance opportunities.

  • Practice in your own time, and have their own initiative.

  • Promote the event in your personal channels and encourage friends, family and your network to purchase tickets.

  • Have or obtain an ABN and learn how to invoice so that you can get paid!

There are a number of exotic classes available at Sky Sirens for students who wish to learn exotic skills. We urge students to enrol into these courses instead if they do not meet the requirements for this course.

Enrolled Students of this course will be entitled to:

  • Some elements of costuming and props to be provided by Sky Sirens.

  • Free packet of Siren Sparkles and Gemtac Glue to bling costumes.

  • Siren Performer gift pack at the performance.

  • Professional Photoshoot to promote the event.

  • The performance evening will be a paid opportunity.
