ACON

ACON is a resource designed for the LGBTQIA+ community providing everything from HIV awareness and prevention, to mental health counselling and Inclusivity Training for workplaces. As different intersections with the LGBTQIA+ community have vastly different experiences, ACON has made specialised resources available to many different communities - including People with Disability, the Indigenous community, people with HIV, people who use drugs, Asian men, mature members of the community, Intersex individuals and many more. Notably, ACON has comprehensive resources on sexual health and safe sex within the community.

TransHub

TransHub provides social, medical, legal and educational resources for Transgender people, allies and clinicians. It provides a comprehensive guide to help trans people feel supported and understand their options. ACON’s Gender Affirming Doctor List is located on TransHub, providing a list of physicians of various disciplines that have been reported as safe for the Trans community. Us Mob and HIV

The Australian Federation of Aids Organisation has produced, in collaboration with Anwernekenhe National HIV Alliance, a comprehensive booklet informing Indigenous communities about HIV. Containing vital information such as describing HIV and AIDS, how it is transmitted and how it can be treated and prevented within Indigenous LGBTQIA+ communities. This booklet contains stories shared by members of the Indigenous community. Twenty10

Twenty10 is a community-run organisation that provides social, housing and legal support to LGBTQIA+ youth in Australia. Through regular social events, Twenty10 aims to provide Queer youth with a sense of community and kinship. Twenty10 is available for youth aged between 10 and 25 years old. They also offer a free counselling service - QLife - that can be accessed via phone call or online chat. Hundreds of trained volunteers operate the service to help support members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Using a peer support model, this service is available from 3pm to midnight every day of the year, with no age restrictions.
